a beautiful park in the middle of the city. mike loves to sit with a cup of coffee and a pastry on sunday mornings listening to the piano player.

alice and dave krasula have been going to this pastry shop since the 70s. it's where a 3 year old meghan had her first cappuccino. we bonded over our mutual love of this pastry shop early on.

anne robustelli loves their squid ink pasta. truly old school italian perfection - it's family run since 1906. the pasta is cut to the size you want when you order. only open tuesday - saturday.

Panchitos proudly boasts the 6th best margarita in manhattan - it's pretty good.
Bamboleo is also a great find for inexpensive mexican.

a few blocks from the Courtyard by Marriott - it's one of the best spots to grab breakfast on Carmine, even if it is owned by Michigan fans.
